ODP/PDP Registration Information

Tryout for 1995, 1996, and 1997 Age Groups THIS WEEKEND

The 2008-2009 Olympic Development Program (ODP) and Player Development Program (PDP) on-line registration for try-outs in the 1995, 1996, and 1997 is open till Friday at 3pm.  Any player who wishes to tryout and does not sign up in time will be able to register on-site for an additional fee.

The long term goal of these programs is to identify a pool of players in each age group from which a National Team will be selected for international competition, to provide high-level training to benefit and enhance the development of players at all levels, and through the use of carefully selected and licensed coaches, to develop a mechanism for the exchange of ideas and curriculum to improve the playing levels.  Over the last two years, a number of new events and training sessions have been added to strengthen the program statewide and regionally, and we hope that 2008-2009 will be our best year to date.

2008 National Championships

Javanon U16 Boys

While the U16 Javanon team didn't make it to the U16 National Championship game in Little Rock as they had hoped, they had a great, although hot overall experience.  From the opening luncheon to three hard fought matches, Javanon came away with lots to work on in the coming year.  During the week, a parent from the Javanon team, chronicled their week here.

On behalf of the entire Kentucky Youth Soccer family, congratulations on making it the National Championships and good luck on obtaining a return trip in 2009.
