Manage Your Membership.
The re-affiliation process is a vital part of our member services at Kentucky Youth Soccer, ensuring that all clubs remain in good standing and continue to benefit from our programs and resources. We deeply appreciate the dedication and commitment of our member clubs to the growth and development of soccer in Kentucky. Your active participation helps us maintain high standards and provides the best possible experience for our athletes, coaches, and families.
This space is designed to help you easily fulfill your re-affiliation requirements with Kentucky Youth Soccer. To stay in good standing, each member must complete the re-affiliation process once per year, by July 15th. This process is entirely virtual and must be completed by a club administrator through GotSport. Stay up-to-date and ensure your club’s compliance by completing the re-affiliation process on time. Thank you for your cooperation!

KY Youth Soccer received new guidance regarding the collection of Kentucky Sales Tax as it relates to player registration and KYSA-sponsored tournaments. Effective immediately, KYSA-affiliated non-profit organizations are not required to pay sales tax to Kentucky Youth Soccer when it comes to registering players and/or State Tournaments (i.e. State Cup, Presidents Cup, etc.). Please note: this exemption does not include KPL, KPL Academy, and Soccer Learning University.
Moving forward, all non-profit member organizations will be exempt from paying sales tax on all player or tournament registration fees. To confirm non-profit status, all teams/clubs/member organizations will be required to provide a copy of their tax-exempt form to Kentucky Youth Soccer on a biannual basis in conjunction with the two main registration events (Player Registration in the Fall and Player/Tournament Registration in the Spring).
GotSport will be updated to include a tax-exempt option, allowing non-profit member organizations to pay without including sales tax, whether paying by credit card online or via invoice/check.
If you are a non-profit organization, but do not have a tax exempt form, you can apply for that document through Kentucky Dept. of Revenue’s website below.
Please note: This exemption does NOT APPLY to member organizations with a for-profit status and/or individuals. There will be a separate registration process for member organizations with a for-profit status that includes sales tax.
If you have questions regarding the changes in sales tax, please contact Kentucky Youth Soccer State Staff. However, all questions relating to our non-profit status or the request of a tax-exempt document should be sent directly to the KY Dept. of Revenue.
